Oct. 8 (Bloomberg) — The Bank of New York Mellon China ADR Index , which tracks American depositary receipts, rose 1.3 percent to 380. The American Stock Exchange China Index gained 0.8 percent. Markets in China were shut until Oct. 8 for the National Day holidays.
